About Good Ideas

Good Ideas is a home for effective ideas that address issues of importance -- health, education, environment, development, and many other topics.

The web offers useful places to post best videos (like on YouTube), PowerPoints (like on SlideShare), documents (like on Scribd) -- but what about good ideas? In particular, what about effective ideas that address important societal problems?

There are plenty of smart, proven, world-changing ideas out there -- but they are generally buried in blog posts or research reports. Doesn't every good idea deserve its own home on the web to allow comments, ranking, and sharing? Will that make us all a little smarter?

Good ideas is an open, non-commercial project started by Jim Cashel, who works for a web strategy and development firm called Forum One. We seek partners to help us archive, tag, rank and share important ideas. Join us!
